ArgonFDS Values Award recipient Hung To recognized for positive leadership during change

ArgonFDS recognized Process Specialist Hung To with a 2025 Values Award for his demonstration of company values through positive leadership, adaptability and commitment to team success. He was presented the award at the company’s 35th anniversary celebration on May 29 by ArgonFDS Vice President and General Manager Jaime Torres.

Hung To consistently creates a positive work environment through his respectful approach to colleagues. “Hung is always positive and works well with his teammates,” noted his nominator. “He speaks up when he feels something is not correct or if he needs further clarification on something.”

His willingness to support others, particularly those still learning, exemplifies the company’s respect values: “He’s always ready to jump in when others need help or have questions — especially less senior people who are still learning.”

 

Embracing change

Hung has demonstrated adaptability during organizational transformation. These changes included the move of Argon into the FDS building, streamlined production processes, new manufacturing methods for displays and mission computers, and “flexing daily from one role to another depending on our assembly needs. Working on glass, electromechanical assembly, ruggedizing, prototyping, final assembly.”

Hung’s collaborative spirit shines through his versatility and willingness to support wherever needed. “Hung just helps everyone every day. He works in many different areas, sometimes all within the same day,” his colleague observed.

His teamwork extends beyond completing tasks: “He builds sub-assemblies, along with all the other assembly areas he flexes to. He is always willing to help anyone get things done that have to be completed to support our customers’ needs.”

Hung is confident when addressing critical issues: “Hung is never afraid to ask that question that needs to be asked but others may not have the courage to bring up so that the whole team understands what needs to get done.”

Hung’s reliability and positive attitude in the face of constant change showcase the flexibility and resilience that ArgonFDS values. His willingness to work across multiple functions demonstrates a commitment to team success over individual convenience.

Hung To has been with ArgonFDS for four years. Married with two grown daughters, he enjoys tennis and travel.
